Just north of St Pete Beach is Treasure Island, which has the widest beach on Florida’s west coast, boasting 3 miles of white sand bordered by the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. You can walk along the shoreline or take a stroll on the Treasure Island Beach Trail, a mile-long walkway along the east side of the beach.  The trail provides easy access to the hotels, bars, and restaurants that embody the heart of Treasure Island’s oceanfront hotel district.

At the public beach access, it’s quite a haul out to the water for you and your guests, making your wedding more physical than you may have envisioned. For a bit more seclusion and ease of access, head to the southern tip of Treasure Island to experience one of our favorite beaches for weddings-Sunset Beach.  The permit fee begins at $250.
